SMS and Messaging

When you submit an event inquiry, you may be asked to consent to receive SMS (text) messages from Gathered and the venue you contacted about your event inquiry, booking, and related updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or get help by replying HELP or contacting us at customer_support@bookgathered.com.

Your SMS consent applies only to communications related to your inquiry, booking, and venue coordination. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.

We and our messaging providers process message content and metadata to deliver and operate the Service, maintain quality, prevent abuse, and support compliance obligations.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• Venues and partners: When you submit an inquiry or book an event, we share relevant information (name, contact details, event details, messages) with the restaurant or venue you are inquiring with so they can fulfill your request and communicate with you.
• Service providers: We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf (e.g. hosting, payment processing, email and SMS delivery, analytics).
• SMS consent protections: Mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and text messaging consent will not be shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
